I'm a Postdoctoral Researcher at the University of Heidelberg (Germany), and member of the Collaborative Research Centre 'Material Text Cultures', where I work on digital publications and research tools for the Humanities.
I was originally trained as a medievalist in Argentina, Portugal and Germany. As a medievalist, I’ve studied mostly German, French and Iberian literatures of the High Middle Ages, but I’m passionate about all things medieval.
As a digital humanist, I’ve been working on digital scholarly editing, network analysis, and distant reading.

Iris Denis is PhD-candidate in the PASSIM project (Patristic Sermons in the Middle Ages) at Radboud University Nijmegen. She completed a Bachelor’s degree in Classics and an MA in Literary studies at Radboud University Nijmegen, during the course of which she specialized in Latin literature, reception and manuscript studies. Her project examines the transmission and reception of pseudo-epigraphic patristic sermons in homiliaria compiled between 500 and 800AD.
